Question about cell phones

My parents got me a new cell phone from At&t. Its got pictures and videos. Well I was playing with it, and realized I could get on the internet from it, and check my email. Is this included or are they charging me fees for doing that? I saw other stuff where you could watch videos and that said something about fees. But this didn't. Anyone have any idea?

:sunny: Contact your cell phone provider and ask them what is included with your plan. You may be in for a big surprise bill if you find out it is not included later.

Be careful Tiff...my daughter got on the internet on my moms phone...and ended up with an $1100 cell phone bill because it wasnt included in the package and it uses up the minutes on the cell phone

I think I pay 1 cent a kb or something like that, I have AT&T but, my phone is prepaid. I would call them and talk to them. I check just a couple things and get charged 25c or more. I usually just check the weather now during storms, I use to check emails and use the messanger while not at home but, it adds up quickly.

Unless that is a pretty expensive package then I would say that it is charging you Tiff ~ Travis tried to pay for his for a couple of months and then ended up changing out of it because it was so expensive.

Text messages are .15 cents a piece sent or received UNLESS you have a plan. There is a plan for 20 dollars where you can text anyone else in the network as many times as you want and have 200 out of network text messages. They go quick also ~ especially for a teenager!!
