question about lucky magazine win

I got an email saying I won the lucky breaks sweeps from lucky magazine in the July issue. It did not say what I won but it say to respond by Sept 9th and I did but I haven't received any response or anything in the mail yet. Does anyone know if this was a scam email or does it take longer for you to receive the prizes? I haven't won a national sweeps yet so I am new to this.

No, it wasn't a scam; and I haven't received my prize yet either. Prizes can sometimes take up to ten weeks after a sweepstakes ends to receive it.

I once received a prize whose sweep ended a year before. I admit that's unusual but it does happen..
