Quick and Simple Recipe Win - $1000 in Kitchen Appliances

Finally had a really good win - had lots and lots of small wins, but just got a call from Quick and Simple Magazine and I won the Grand Prize for my "Caramel Apple Pecan Cheesecake" Recipe in their Summer Recipe Contest. What a great win - and I had forgotten all about it.

I could not believe it - and on a day like today - it had been a rotten day - but not anymore.
