Received my certificate via email today. Won First place, a 7 night certificate to any RCI property throughout the world.
When I was first notified of this win by HelloWorld on January 29th, I had my doubts. RCI is a major timeshare company, and I was afraid some timeshare heavy sales tactics but it doesn't seem to be that way.
The win is a basic certificate and so limited in property options and time availability (looks like I can only book about one month in advance, not a problem). I do have option of upgrading certificate for $50-100 a night which gives me 1000's more properties to choose from and better availability.
But so far it has been fun looking at the properties I can book for free. Already have some possibilities in Costa Rica and Morocco. Certificate is good for a year, so lots of time to decide.
Now is it greedy of me to want to win another sweepstakes to pay for the airfare??
