that is why I don't take the meds they gave me . I could not stand that taste from lunesta. and the requip just didn't give me enough relief to take it everyday . so.......its just stretch, stretch, and more stretch. :crazytongue: :crazytongue:
I too have RLS and find that eating a banana or drinking a glass of OJ helps right before bed. Since I too am a diabetic I have to watch the blood sugars when I do this.
Just an update, my legs have felt alot better, and I'm finally getting sleep. I've been trying to strech my legs, and walk alot, before I go to sleep. Seems to help.
You're doing the correct thing. Don't overdo before bed, but light exercise before bed seems to help some people. Also, try a heating pad when they start bothering you. Also, check with your doctor for any other underlying causes.
