Save-A-Lot's Great Gift Card Giveaway Instant Win Game

I won $25 gift card from this instant win in December. They sent me a confirmation and I could choose between several retailers as to which gift card I wanted. I chose Best Buy. I received the gift card on Friday. I gave it to my husband to use and tonight we went to Best Buy and he tried to use the card toward the purchase of a game. The card was declined! They tried it several times, and said that noone had activated the card and there was no money on it at all. I sent the company an email to the email address they sent the confirmation from.

I'm having trouble finding the expired sweep though. Can anyone help?

Has this happened to anyone? If so, was it fixed?

I know from experience any gift cards I've won, I had to activate the card by first calling the 1-800 on the back of the card. After you following the instructions via phone, your card will be activated. Good Luck!!
