Tobby1, sorry for the sad message. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

:3some:

Sorry to hear you're having a tough time, tobby1. One great thing about the internet is that you can always find someone to talk with.

tobby1 - are you able to volunteer? Perhaps you could visit people in nursing homes or something? Sounds like you need some good hugs, and I'd bet you'd get some there!

yes Amy, I do volunteer, just gets to me sometimes that I don't have family, and just lost my last blood relative this year, my brother and his children, so really a hard year, and ya the holidays do not help as that was a real big deal between me and the kids, I do have some blood family somewhere they just are not wanting me in their life and figured out long time ago no good to be where you are not wanted, guess just feeling sorry for myself, I will snap out of it some time, thanks

tobby1 - just remember - they lose out by not having you in their lives and you are wanted here!!!

:sunny: tobby, honey you know we all love you. You are family to us and I can't imagine our family without you in it!
Will be praying that God can help to give you comfort during this time and bring some happiness your way. Sending big hugs to you.

thanks guys, I feeling a little better today, did get something to keep my mind busy and not feel so lonely, the local police have been trying to help me get a guard dog due to situations, and they found me a English mastiff/boxer, she is 9months old, and weights about 80lbs, she is trained pretty well, still has allot of puppy though, but definitely gives me something to keep mind busy and feel safer and have some company, Man does she have a big tongue, lol. They helped me because felt the need was very important and I no way could afford to buy one, they are really pricey if trained, up to $8000 for not fully trained, anyway God provides, a lady who got this one divorced and could not afford to feed her anymore and was most concerned she went where loved and not just thrown in a building or junk yard, so she called the county police and they said they knew just the place for her, so I became a mommy, nothing like having a furry family. To be honest please keep praying still tough, but doing better with my new friend, anytime I cry she jumps on my lap and starts licking, and that is allot of dog on your lap, everyone was shocked at how easy she took to me, usually they are very hard to get to change owners, but then again, God knows I need some help. Thank you all and God bless

Oh Tobby, that's wonderful!!! You got yourself a double loyal/loving dog!!! :headbang:
Ya the police in my county I could not ask to have been nicer or helped me more this year, kind of funny my attack dogs name is Daisy.  the ladies daughter named her, kind of sounds funny when you say attack Daisy, although really all her commands are in german. And my doctor really understands and wrote papers and filled out all the neccasary things so can take her anywhere I go. So that is a big help mentally and makes me feel safer.

I am so happy for you Tobby!!!

Daisy, lol, how sweet - I can just see you now: "Sic 'em Daisy Waisy" :crazytongue:

When we were in Bermuda, Bob got a beautiful girl for us {she looked like a retriever, but really short  } we called her Duchess because she had a regal way about her. Anyway, she went into heat and we started getting a big German Shepherd coming to "call" on her, and one day, I was sitting out on the steps, and he {We named him Boyfriend  } well, he snuggled up to me for some ear scratching, so I obliged.

Next thing I knew? This HUGE dog had wormed his way into my lap!!!

SUCH a love!!! But a fighter too - a pit bull had also decided he would like to woo our sweet Duchess, and one day when we got home from work, we found our porch and Boyfriend covered in blood!!! Poor Boyfriend stopped coming around so much after that, and Duchess had a litter - I miss her!!!

Oh poor boyfriend, but such is the ways of love and pit bulls, maybe you need a new baby, Daisy is funny, she is very sweet and playful, I said are you sure she will do anything?? She acts like a big baby, Well when she is told to she does not act like a big baby, they explained you want a nice dog not a mean dog for a trained attack dog as the mean dog would bite anyone, the nice dog would bite only who you say.Although my pillow did take quite a beating,  it will never be the same again. Thank you guys for helping me get out of my funk, that is part of why I love this place so much, we all stick up for each other too, Now I am getting all mushy.

We can't :cry we live in an apt. and our 14 year old cat would NOT stand for it!!! :crazytongue:

Mushiness makes the world go 'round

I understand, it really worked out well, I knew a couple weeks ago I was getting her, but they said she had to have some refresher classes, well didn't expect her for at least a couple more weeks, then this morning still feeling as low as an alligator's belly, they called and said would be by, and I got my new baby, she definitely keeps my mind busy which is a very good thing, and I have a kitty shelter, she even likes my kitties, and I don't mean likes them for supper,
