say a prayer for me

:sunny: What a wonderful blessing for you and for Daisy the attack dog! Sounds like the two of you were meant for each other. Animals can be such a comfort. I don't know what we would do without our little Phoebe. We call her our little girl. They always seems to sense when you need to have your face licked!

I've been praying for you since I saw your post two days ago. I am so happy the Lord sent you a guardian angel, even if it is four-legged!

I have an Aunt who gives the BEST hugs ever - some people are so prickly and awkward, but she just exudes love and warmth, you kinda don't want to let go! She is who I had in mind when I said you need good hugs!

Since she can't travel around and give her healing hugs, I was surfing and saw the link to that, and thought, why not?

Hope I'm not too late for this one, I do wish you all the best Hun. I know what it's like to be alone in general.
It's going to be me, home cooked meals, tons of store bought deserts and watching TV reruns tonight and tomorrow.

Have a Blessed Holiday!!

thank you all so much, and God really helped me out today, I was going to town to get gas and found an old instant lottery ticket in my pocket, scratched it, won $200, that made me smile, brought two more, kept $198 and won another $40. Well that made me smile, money is nice but not really company, I get home and all the county police are at my house, I think now what, they had a huge package in a uhaul of groceries and stuff for me, well of corse I cried like a big dog, I was so touched they did that for me, sometimes you feel like noone knows you are alive, and I live in the middle of nowhere, so might not see people for along time, so I was really touched. they have helped me so much through all the problems with exfamily trying to hurt me, and I just couldnt believe they would do that out of their own pocket. God is so good and he always picks me up when I get to low. the Bible says He will never give us more then we can handle, proved it to me again. Then the topping on the cake the biggest surprise, my ex-daughter in law calls and says she will be bringing my 3 grandsons down to see me after the new year, I have not been allowed to see them for almost 2 years, have not even met the youngest, My son really lost it after being overseas and would not let anyone see the kids, well now they are divorced, and she felt I should see them. I pray it really happens and am so thankful that possably I will be able to be with them again. thank you all again and God bless. Your prayers really have been a blessing

Well it even got better, tonight on the instants won a water teter toter,a bottle of Coke Sweepstakes and a $25 gift card, Guess I better quit complaining and start saying thanks for all the prayers and love sent my way, SA is such a great bunch of people and I am proud to be a part of it.

Wow, glad things are getting better, especially being able to see your grandchildren. :headbang:

 So happy to hear that things are looking up for you! Very happy to hear that the police are making sure that you are being taken care of during this holiday season. Merry Christmas!

Tobby1, when I first joined SA, you had posted about winning a boat and saving it for when your son came home. Then I remember you counting down the days until he was home. That was the last I saw about him, although I'm sure you must have posted what happened with him once he got home. I am so sorry that he ended up being one of the casualties of war here at home. So many young people have lost "who they are" because of the war. But I know that God is still in the business of miracles and hopefully things will turn around for your son. I am so glad your former dil is bringing the grandkids to you. I hope you enjoy them and make wonderful memories.

Yes it is very sad how the war affects them. I still and always will love him with all my heart and pray for him everyday. Maybe someday he will get help or come back to us, unfortanalty he is also quite ill from the chemicals he was exposed to. I am so thankful I will be able to see my grandsons, and my ex dil is so understanding and allowing me to be with them, thank you all for the prays and help, God bless you each and everyone.
