Shrek/Con-Agra win? Was i dreaming?

I just got a winning screen that said grand prize winner 1000 Gift card and lithograph and...before i coud read the rest, it just moved on to the next screen which says submit your next UPC code. I tried the backpage over and over but it would not appear again.
Did I really win? Anybody who won this sweeps, can you tell me if you had the same thing? Did u get an email shortly? Or did you have to do anything else on the winning screen like confirm you profile etc...? I hoep i did not just blow my chances on a big win. I cannot sleep now thinking about it.
 
Congratulations....

You will get a e-mail confirming. If you saw the screen I would definetly say that you won.. Its just nerve wracking...
 
I saw a winning screen for the litho and such a while ago. It changed just as yours did real fast.
I contacted the company on it and they told me unless you get an email saying you win you aren't a winner.

I know that doesn't make anyone happy but thought I would share
 
Unfortunately, this happened to me every single day on this game, on my first play of the day. Later, I did end up winning the second prize. It's really annoying, isn't it? The little Pinocchio is so happy, and it says YOU WON THE GRAND PRIZE in all caps... then it switches screens, and you never get an email. When I finally did win second prize, it didn't switch screens, and I immediately got an email confirmation. I hate to be the bearer of bad news. I hope you really do win it!
 
I got one of those screens earlier on, and it went away too. Through all the years of sweeping, I'm used to glitches, slow progressing plays, etc. I just forget about it and keep sweeping. A win screen isn't confirmation of a win anyway. So, if you are really a winner, you'll eventually know about it; and, if not, you won't hear anything. It's all a part of the wonderful world of sweepstaking.
 
Geez...it might not be a win after all. And i woke some people telling them the good news last night. Hmm...i'm not gonna put all my hopes on it...but who knows- that email might still arrive. What a lesson learned. Thanks for all your replies.

As a rule of thumb, you haven't won anything until the sponsor validates your information and verifies you as the winner. Well, basically, you haven't won anything until you actually have that prize in your hand! :) I've gotten so many false wins screens. They don't phase me. If I really win, I eventually find out for sure; and, if I didn't, I just forget about it! :cheers:

I have on occasion received the "sorry" screen and then got a winning email. I guess it can go both ways, which is why sponsors put into the rules that they're not responsible for glitches. Hope you won something from da Shrek.

That was happening on the Domino's instant win a couple of years ago for a year of free Netflix.

Me too - so unless I get a confirmation email, I don't believe any "wins" - it's also the main reason I don't play the games OR even look at the screen while I keep clicking the "play here" links if they have them!!! :laughing:
