Ok, so everyone knows about a month ago or so, I won the 3 or 4 night cruise to bahamas or mexico from the Johnny Rockets iw. Well I finally came to the conclusion we really can't afford it. We already took one trip, and have to put that on our taxes, and I really didnt want to have to claim this cruise. Plus the fact I needed money for passport, and any other things. We struggle pay check to paycheck, so I really don't want to win anymore trip wins.
Heres the good news, I forfieted (wow didnt spell that right) so someone is going to get an email or call soon :) Hope its an SAer!!!
 
Hope your next win has a cash option. Always ask if they do. I won a prize last year and cash option wasn't listed in the rules, but I asked and they said yes. Needless to say I took the GREEN!! Good Luck!
 
yea I asked if there was any lesser prize I could have. Shoot I really wanted a Johnny rockets gc. lol. Oh well, my daughter just came in here, and told me her uncle is being mean to her. He wont let her have any food. lol. :laughing: I gotta go help her.
 
Sorry you had to miss out. But it's good to do the "right" thing and turn down wins that you can't afford and/or use. I'll be looking in my inbox for my cruise notification ; )
 
I am with you Tiff, I enter most knowing that the grand prize is a real reach, in that way of thinking I have won many second, third , or runner up prizes. You dii the right thing. Hope you don't give up
 
Sorry you had to give up such a great win! I understand though!
For the rest of the subject I enter many sweeps with several prizes hoping to get in on the smaller prizes knowing that in my mind I will never win the grand prize. I am never that lucky!

That's too bad that you couldn't take the prize. Hopefully you'll win something you can use soon to make up for it. I have no problem at all with you entering this sweeps since there were so many smaller instant prizes(800 of them). By refusing the sweepstakes prize, you did no harm as someone else will still get picked. On a side note, although I didn't win one of the 1st prizes in this sweeps (there were (8) 3 or 4 day cruises for 2), I was notified last Friday that I was picked as the grand prize winner (a 7 day Caribbean cruise for 4 with shore excursions). I'm so excited... Everyone may want to check their e-mails carefully as it would have been an easy one to miss...
