Subject of Winning Emails...

Does the subject always contain some verbage like "Congratulations", "Winner", etc? What are some examples of what the subject line may be?

I don't have time to open all my emails and I see the posts from winners but the posts only have the body of the email.

Thanks for the info!!!

I always search for "congratulations" and "congrats". To catch entry confirmations and required newsletter subscriptions, I also search for, "confirm", "verify", and "activate".

However, there are always weird notifications that come through. Somewhere in this forum there is a feed that lists, "weird notifications".

:sunny: Most have the words Congratulations, Big News, (Name of Sweeps) Giveaway Winner, some have just the name of the sweeps as the subject and I have received a few that I would have never guessed were winning emails.

Is there a way to set-up your e-mail account to 'Flag' these e-mails (containing these & other specific words) or route them to a special folder? I too have the same problem with all the spam that comes in.

If you use Google you can use Google alerts (http://www.google.com/alerts) and set it up to search the internet for items like; "congratulations James Jones, New York" or "Winner Jones", etc. however it scans all of the internet and you might end up with a lot of info not related to you. I find using the Google mail search feature most helpful. Or you can set up the filter messages feature, but, using the search feature still works best for me.

P.S. Other mail services must have similar services.
