SweepsPop

Hi vonniejane1,

Yes, SweepsPop does make entering faster.

Instead of clicking on each sweeps on your page, one at a time, you can launch a page of 20 sweeps all at once. (You can launch fewer if you like.) All 20 sweeps will appear in tabs across the top of your screen.

Advantages? Saves time and energy.

Try it and see the difference! :)

In addition to using SweepsPop to launch sweeps, you can use it to check all sweeps, instead of checking them individually. Again, it saves you time. Here are some posts from a discussion when SweepsPop was new. It explains it in more detail. If you still have questions, please ask and we will answer them.

New feature - SweepsPop :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Hello,

For the past few weeks we have been working on some new tools that will help
speed up sweepstakes entry. To address this you will see a new menu option
in category pages, search results, expiring sweepstakes, my sweepstakes, etc.

The menu option is called "Advanced Options" . If you click this link you will
get a drop down menu.

The first few menu options called SweepsPop will work together and enable
SA members to quickly launch all the sweepstakes on a page in a new window/tab
or allow you to select individual sweepstakes to "Pop" open.

This is how SweepsPop works.

1. Click the Advanced Options link.

2. Click "Enable SweepsPop Boxes" .
( This will add a check box on the current page for each sweepstakes listed on the page ) .

3. Click "Check all SweepsPop" .
( This will check off all the SweepsPop boxes on the page)

[glow=red,2,300]* This next step is only to be used if your computer is able to handle multiple windows open at the same time. This may slow older systems down or possible make your web browser unresponsive. Please use at your own risk. [/glow]

4. Click "Launch SweepsPop" .
( This will open every sweepstakes that you have checked off in a new window or in a new tab if you
use the Tabs feature in the latest version of Internet Explorer or Firefox ) .

Additional SweepsPop Options

1. Uncheck all SweepsPop - This will uncheck all the SweepsPop check boxes on the current page.
2. Disable SweepsPop - Will make the SweepsPop functionality disabled or disappear for the current page.

New SweepsCheck Features

On the Advanced Options menu you will find (2) new SweepsCheck features.

1. Check all SweepsCheck - This option will check off every SweepsCheck box on the current page.
2. Uncheck all SweepsCheck - This option will uncheck every SweepsCheck box on the current page.

* These options can become particularly useful for daily entry sweepstakes.

We hope you like the new features. By the Way... they are 100% Free as always!

I hope I'm posting this in the right place, but just had to let people know (because I had never tried it) that the sweepspop thing that opens all your sweeps that you saved is SUCH A TIME SAVER!!!!! I can't believe I didn't take the time to use this feature before! I have 10 pages of dailies and it could take me all day (between sitting at small periods of time over the day) and I just completed 10 pages of dailies in about an hour and 15 minutes!!!! That's awesome!!! Sweepsadvantage is such an awesome site!!! Oh and if you need help with it theres a help button that explains it in detail!!!

Okay, so I am trying SweepsPop tonight for the first time and I like it. Saves time! I do have a question though. How is the best way to handle those sweeps where you can enter 3 times, i.e. Leite's Culinaria? Thanks!

The best way to handle the 3/per days is join SweepsPlus so you can make a category called "3 per day". Or, when you get to the page they are on load them individually 2 more times after you have done the page. But having the category in SweepsPlus allows you to enter them spread out thru the day with ease. When I first do my 3 per days I clear out all the sweeps checks, then check the first one only. When I come back later in the day I sweeps check the second one also. Then when I come back to do the third entry of the day I sweeps check all of them. Doing this allows me to know how many times I have entered for the day. This is only one of the ways SweepsPlus helps me enter more easily, and efficiently!

Thanks for the info. Sounds like I need to spread out my entries but I usually sit down in the evening and enter for about 5 hours until I finish. Do you think it is better to spread entries out?

I think it doesn't matter. The main thing is to enter, and hopefully to enter regularly, as often as you are allowed. Sweeping is a hobby, right? So I'd say to enter whenever it is the best time for you, on your personal schedule, so you keep it enjoyable and don't burn out. Some people approach it like a job, and others like an obsession. However it works best for you...there are probable as many answers as there are individual styles and personalities.

Colleenjudge was using as an example how SweepsPlus helps her organize in her own way, including spreading out the Leite's Culinaria entries (either 2X or 3X per day). I love SweepsPlus for this, and other reasons. I have tried entering Leite's Culinaria religiously both ways - all at once and in batches throughout the day, but I suppose it is random, the luck of the draw. Haven't won from them yet, but if I enter once per day, I feel like I have a chance. After reading Colleen's post, I started trying her method again, but eventually I may switch back and enter all 3X at one sitting...just to mix it up (or mix myself up!) (I have tried some of Colleen's other ideas too, for customizing My Sweeps in SweepsPlus, and they are great. I wonder how I ever entered without them! TY, CJ!)

Here's a huge time-saver, if you aren't already using it ~~ Roboform ~~ free trial or paid version (supposedly a one-time small fee). Here's a link to information in the forums about Roboform for starters, but there is more if you search:

If you have any questions about Roboform or other things, please ask. SAers are the best source of info and are so helpful in sharing their expertise.

Although I replied, other people may also chime in with their answers/opinions, which we always learn from. :headbang:

You're welcome, vonniejane1. Hope something is helpful. So glad you're using Robo! :)

 vonniejane1 - I merged your 2 {SweepsPop} threads together so all the info would be in the same thread :sunny:
