Sweepstakers' superstitions

My egg this a.m. had a double yolk, which obviously means I'm going to win something real soon. :sunny:

When I win a small prize, particularly a prize I don't want, I worry that I used up my luck for the week. What are your superstitions?
 
When I get a Premonition regarding the prize or the name of a sweep.... I usually end up winning it.... Wierd, but true
 
When my left hand starts to itch, I win. :laughing:

Happens when I'm out gambling too :laughing:

When it's my right hand? Time to go home!!! :whistle:

Sometimes, when I'm flying through my sweeps, clicking the "can't see the game" link, and going on to the next tab and/or page (I usually have 8 - 10 pages open with 15-24 tabs each) I "know" I'm a winner right before the page loads and tells me. :headbang:

Happens rarely - in fact, I haven't hit since 1/5 :crazytongue:

I don't have any talismans or routines though - I try to just enter & forget it :crazytongue: :whistle:
 
I have my SA pen, my lucky care bear tin and a dreamcatcher hanging over my computer. :whistle: Dont know if it helps but I like it anyways.
 
I get an overwhelmingly happy feeling in my stomach. usually, happens when I win (could be something small ) but for me, sometimes a small win means alot to me. I find it funny, what actually makes me happy. Sometimes , It's not the big things, its the things I actually like.
 
My superstition is that when I do a random act of kindness, I am paid for it in sweepstakes - but it can't be something that is done for the expressed purpose of winning the sweeps!

My first big win of 2006 was a huge wonderful Sony Vaio television, and it came within a week of the day I saved a goose from being bludgeoned by one of its flock. I.. *ahem*... "humbled" myself while dozens of my coworkers walked by, taking off my shoes and my jacket and walking across the lawn to scare off the attacker, and wrap the victim up in my jacket to carry him (or her) away to safety.

My big big vehicle win in the same year came within a month of me agreeing to take in my husband's best friend's wife while he spends time in jail.

I suppose I'm a believer in karma at some level when it comes to wins. :) I suppose I've not been a good girl lately.
 
My thing is this: I know I'm probably not going to win. So when I do-it is really double great. Who would have ever thought I would have won all the things I have won so far. This is just a great site. Spend your time wisely and hope for the best
 
I have to have a moc every few months. If my wins start slacking off, I know it's been to long since my last moc!! :laughing:
 
I don't really have any, except for if I say I am going to win I jinx myself but, sometimes I have a feeling that I am going to win a certain sweep and sometimes I do. I always do my sweeps thinking that I won't win and when I do? I get excited.
