The good news / bad news. . . .

Hello,

Just a quick note to let everyone know that I am going to be scarce for a while. The good news / bad news. . . .

The good news is that I will be busy packing for my Las Vegas Trip (Irwin Tell Us Your Vise – Grip Story win) and then I will be living the high-life in Vegas!

The bad news, my satellite system downgraded my service due to an overage of my upload usage??????????? So now my internet is very slow – of course they offer to upgrade us at a “reasonable” prize. My husband chose to leave them – so my internet connection will not be great until my new satellite is installed – hopefully by next week!

:scratch: downgraded due to upload usage??? What a crock that is. My dh would have done the same as yours only after yelling a few expletives at them.

huh? You and me both, pmeek.

Have fun and Vegas and ASK FOR COMPS EVERYWHERE!!!! You will get them, trust me.
 
Its called Fair Access Policy, or FAP
Hughes is currently trying to force everybody to switch to the 9000 system from the 7000 (forced upgrade)
The problem with switching between satellite services is...they are all that bad. Hughes.net, Wildblue...they are all awful.
Thank goodness we finally got real internet...
