The Mysterious Call from UPS....

Shortly after 8:00 am the talking caller ID said call from "Toll Free Number" so I let it go to the answering machine (cause that's what I do). The recorded woman's voice indicated we would be receiving a UPS package today between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm, gave a tracking number, and said someone needs to be home to sign for it. Since we haven't ordered anything lately we wondered what could be coming.

Is it another T-shirt; a wide-screen TV; maybe a bill?

Has Bill Gates decided to get rid of some of his money and stuff it in UPS packages for random recipients?

Maybe it's an affy for a trip...Europe? An Awards show in Las Vegas?

I'll post when I find out. And I'll be dreaming until the package arrives....
 
did you try entering the tracking number to see where it was coming from it would drive me nuts all day waiting for a package good luck hope it is something big
 
Did you write down the tracking number and go the the UPS website and see at least what city and state it came from? :scratch: Good luck for something great!!
 
I have had to sign for my CSI dvds, the small christmas rug, and other small prizes. My ups will leave the package if I sign a paper authorizing them to leave the package. I can't take off work to sign for small wins. HOPE yours is worth winning.
 
According to my wife, no sign of the UPS driver. If he's true-to-form, he won't appear until after 5:00 pm. I do have the tracking number, and I could check on where the package is coming from and the weight. But that my spoil my dreaming!
 
i got a call the day before last with same info it came yesterday it was my 100.00 travlers cheque from the family guy sweeps
 
:booty" I would do exactly what you did and wait to see....I love savoring the mystery and dreaming!!
