The Power of the Rabbit!

A while back, one of our sons told us of a superstition. At the first of every month, wake up and say as your first words "Rabbit, Rabbit" to bring good luck for the month

This Monday morning my wife and I both awoke and said the magic words.

Later that day, we received a phone call from Our State magazine (the magazine of my state - North Carolina) that we had won a two night stay at the Umstead Hotel in Cary, NC (the area's only five star hotel) including two 50 minute massages, a Tastings Menu dinner, and breakfast for two days- an ARV of $1500!!

Funny how excited you can get to stay at a hotel 10 miles away from your home!

I hope the rabbit has some more prizes in store!

Congratulations on the win! Sometimes a close by getaway is just as good for the soul than one 2000 miles away.
 
:sunny:, Sounds wonderful, no long trip to tire you out. Enjoy. I am the "rabbit" under the Chinese calendar so I am hoping to have some luck this year. I have won a lot of wonderful small things-no big wins. I will be giving your idea a try for sure. Congratulations. Continued success for rest of year.
 
Congrats! :cheers: :cheers: I love rabbits. :laughing: We used to raise them. They make fun pets. I think I'll say "Rabbit Rabbit" tomorrow morning because I'm down on my luck lately. :cry: Anyway, I hope you win lots more nice prizes this year.
