The timing couldn't have been more perfect!

The day after we got the news they were shutting our call center down, I received a very uplifting phone call. I had won 100,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles in the Celebrated Living Readers Choice Platinum List Survey Sweepstakes! It could not have come at a better time to uplift my spirits as now my son and I can go to California to visit my best friend!

Congrats on your win! What's that old phrase - "When God closes a door, He opens a window" I think it goes. Hope good things come out of your trip - so glad you won the miles to travel when you needed something to boost your spirits after the news of the job loss. Enjoy!
 
What a blessed win! God always comes through at the right time. Everything happens for a reason. You never know when a new opportunity may arise, maybe in California. Congratulations & have a wonderful time :wave:
