Tracking Wins on Yahoo Calendar

I just started tracking my wins on the Yahoo Calendar and I like it because I can look at the whole month at one glance and see how I am doing. It is nice to see the days that I have wins 'highlighted.' I use to track them in a notebook and that was no fun, finally got to the 2tst century.

Too late. My Yahoo calendar is full up with doctor appointments, etc. I really like using it. I can see that it would be great for tracking wins. I have been recording mine in "My Documents". I list the date, contest, prize, value, and insert a checkmark when I actually receive the prize. I am sure there are better ways.
Maybe some of the others here will share their methods with us. :lurk:

I use Google calendar. Each person can have multiple calendars so if you want one for Dr. appointments and a separate one for sweeps wins it's easily done & you only have to see the calendar you want to see. You can also do a search for certain items like "pending" which I always put if I haven't gotten the win yet or "won" to see what all I've won & received. You can see it a week at a time or a month at a time.

I like the Google idea, I will try that later today. Is that with gmail, if so I have to get use to it. I get too much spam mail with gmail.

No. You can use any e-mail address with your google account. You can also share your calendar with other people (I share mine w/ my hubby) so he can keep up with what's going on. It's quite handy. Hope it works out for you. :sunny:

Didn't know Google had a calendar, too. Duh! I'll check it out. Thanks for the idea. :sunny:

I use my miscrosoft spreadsheet. That way I can total the columns to see how much I've won with a simple formula. I can also re-sort everything by category: gift card, cash, clothing, food etc.

Another advantage to using the Google calendar is that you can log into your calendar from any computer in case you're away from home or if you're a multiple computer household. Also, you can sync it with your iPhone, MS Outlook, or with your Blackberry. I know it's not for everyone, but it definitely works for me. I put info in the notes section when I contact the company re: a win, etc. so I have that info readily available. I also put the ARV in the subject line so I keep track of the ARV, as well as subtotalling it weekly and monthly. I know... OCD... I can't help it :crazytongue:
