I had a winning notification on Twitter in early March. A rare Twitter win....

My twitter is not connected to my primary email and the notification didn't appear on my Twitter feed, so I missed out.

You are a potential winner. Please email your name/complete address/DOB and Twitter handle to * within 48 hrs


(I might not have won because I wasn't too careful, but I don't think I missed a really big prize,(but they didn't tell me what it was) I just felt compelled to write this ''win'' so others might get their prize!



FYI - I should have opened my email box on Twitter. (SMH)
 
Ahh that's too bad,
but it happens to the a lot of us I think we miss the notification.
Mine was from Doritos.
It was no big deal because I think it might have been chips, I don't know for sure, it was through young america administrator.
Had it of been a car or some of the other sweeps I entered on Twitter for the superbowl, I would probably never have recovered LOLOL!: ) So in a way I'm lucky it wasn't.
 
The same thing happened to me when I first started out on Twitter and I lost out on $200 or $250 I can't remember. It was cash too. I was so upset with myself. That will never happen again. I check my twitter messages numerous times a day now. So sorry about you losing a prize. I know how that feels.
 
You can set twitter to alert, email, text, you if/when you're messaged, mentioned, etc. You can also have a text message sent to you to alert when someone private messages you. If you don't check twitter often.

I missed a big one ($1500 and a Chicago Bears Player-for-a-day experience) once in my Google-voice number, never checked it, just set it up for the heck of it, must have used the number the same day only, figures I would've won and it was a call not an email... Didn't hurt so much because I didn't see it until a year later.

and on Facebook from Super Jeweler, went into my 'other' message box, never saw it.
