They run frequent 'sweeps' on their page, typically giving away PS5, XBox, or nintendo sweepstakes Switches and I have tweeted, liked, commented, and retweeted on a bunch of them. Today I got the following DM from them:

"Hello congratulations on winning one of the 3 select PS5s , we do require each winner to cover international express shipping which is $60, if they’re not based in Canada, if you’re in Canada we do charge $30, hopefully that’s not an issue just let me know!"

After doing a little more digging, some people actually sent money and then were immediately blocked.

Yes I got that same DM on Twitter and I responded that this sounds like a scam if you can send me the PS5 and it's legit I'll give you the $60 and now I'm blocked from his twitter. What a cold heartless person it takes to steal people's money like that if that's what they really are doing. The checkmark should be removed from his account and he should be banned. This is assuming he really is a scammer which sounds like it.

Can we try to get this account banned I unfortunately fell for this and I just want nobody else to get scammed

I have had several twitter scams, and I only use Sweepstakes Plus. I won all expenses paid trip to the Bahamas (10 winners won trips) and the account and any other information just disappeared off of X. Have won three games (not from Twitter) from the Board Revolution etc. and never gotten them. It was just an endless circle down rabbit holes so I gave up on these. Lately it is really hard to keep up with the scamsters, so I don't blame Sweepstakes Plus. I also ran into a IG sweepstakes that any "giveaway accounts only used for sweeps would be DQ'd. I will stand behind Sweepstakes Plus as the absolute best in in the business. It is just getting hard to keep up :)
