My month has been really slow in regards to winnings . . . So imagine my surprise to get two emails regarding blog wins!

I won a ModBod Clothing Company XL Smokey Mauve Thermal Hoodie (ARV $23.95)

And

a Sumdex Nicole Modern Backpack (ARV $52.00). The backpack is the kind you can use for your laptop. I really need one. I will be taking my laptop to the track in style now! I am such a lucky duck.


 
Congrats on your wins! They are both very nice. I've never entered any of the blog sweeps. I know this is a dumb question but do you win based on your blog or are you randomly chosen?
 
congratz on your wins, i think blog winners are chosen randomly. i entered only like 4 or 5 blog contests and i won that lacome mascara. i never used to enter them before but now im pondering changing my mind. again congratz!

Almost all of them are done by random selection. Every once in a while a contest will state that content will decide the winner, but it is rare.

You do have to be careful to include what is required in your blog entry or your entry could be disqualified. For example if the instructions state to make a comment regarding your favorite Halloween Sweepstakes candy and you write "What a nice giveaway; hope I am the winner." your entry could be deemed invalid.
