Update -- Two wins today
Update: I received the "indoor/ outdoor video camera" and am now trying to return it. The only way to use it is to subscribe to Xfinity Home Security services. This is NOT a prize in my opinion. It feels more like a scam. The sweeps admin has yet to respond to my emails to them (corresponding with the folks that notified me of the "win" and to whom I sent my paperwork).
1 -- Notified of second place prize in the Xfinity Ultimate Pet Detective sweepstakes -- an "indoor/outdoor video camera, value $199.95" -- probably the only prize in this sweeps I didn't want/need but it will be a nice Christmas gift for someone, I guess. (Grand prize was a home theater system, first prize was a $250 gift card and third prize was a $25 gift card.)
2 -- instant win this morning in the Pureloveforpets.com Purina Summer Blockbuster Instant Win Game -- I won the Cat prize, which is a variety of cat food and treats plus an $8.00 coupon, total value is $18.26. We took in a stray kitty last year (who still thinks he is a stray and that we are just here to open the door to him a few times a day) and this is the second cat-related prize I've won.
It has been a long dry spell so hopefully something good is happening now!
