Vacation Time Again!

:sunny: As many of you know, I usually go back to Michigan every year to visit all my family. I will be flying out Tueday the 22nd and will not be returning home until August 12 or 13.
I will have very limited times to use the internet, this is a very rural area. Lots of Amish! So you probably won't be catching me in the forum. I will be vacationing from doing any sweeps, too. This doesn't bother me too much, when you do this day after day after day you need a vacation from it. I normally come back recharged and ready to go again. Especially, when I get home and have lots of prizes waiting for me to open!
I will miss all of you. So if you win and don't see a Congratulations from me, just know that in my heart the Congratulations is there for you!!!

Have a wonderful time! I am so jealous, I want a vacation to see my family so bad. Enjoy it for me!! Amish, they are very interesting people, I love just about everything about them! Don't forget to sample the foods from the amish markets, I have yet gotten to do this but, I was just recently informed that there is a town maybe a couple hours from here where the amish has a weekend market with homemade goods, I have got to go sometime!
 
:sunny: One of my favorite places to go when I lived there were the Amish stores. I would buy all my baking supplies at one store and all my vitamins,natural herbal remedies, ole time toys, fabrics at the other. The one store burned down when the kerosene lantern got knocked over, but they built an even bigger and better store. No electrical power so they use an old hand operated register, lots of windows and kerosene lanterns for light, lots of fun interesting things.
The Walmart has a hitching post in the parking lot for them to tie their buggies up. The children are always so well behaved with the oldest watching over them while mom shops. You'll find them in the entertainment dept watching all the televisions while mom shops! :laughing:
One of the things I miss the most is the clip-clop, clip-clop of the horse and buggies going by my house.
 
That sounds like so much fun. Have a relaxing time and don't worry about a thing while you are gone. Vacations are nice to be able to just get away.
 
Oh girl ~ take care of yourself while you are gone...I know it will seem like forever for me! Even with me MIA, I still miss all the regular faces when I get on! Hope you have the best time ever! Lots of love and happiness!
 
have fun pmeek and we'll miss ya girl.... i need a vacation like that to force me into takin' a break from sweeps....lol... my fiance actually forces me to my sweeps now... i've been totally gettin' burned out... but... i love 2 win, so go figure... hit us up when you get home pmeek and be safeeeeeeeeeee :sunny:
