Virus/Trojans from blog sites

OK I don't like needing to ask you all about this.
I don't want to cause any trouble but I need to know.
Is anyone have more problems than usual with virus alerts when doing blog entries?
It's generally an occasional thing for me - no problem.
But today while doing my blog entries I received virus alerts (Avast) at seven sites.
Don't know if I should post them or not.
I'm very careful with my antivirus/spyware stuff.
I ran all scans and everything came up clean.
I don't see how 7 sites could have problems.
Could my Avast have gone goofy?

Hello,

I have recently switched from Norton Antivirus to Avast because Avast has really
good scores for catching viruses and it works the best on Windows 7. My daughter
recently had a virus on her system while Norton had been running. :(

Avast also has a free version.

So, you are in good shape with using Avast.

Sometimes virus alerts can be false. In other cases some of these blog sites may be
running an advertiser banner rotation and some bad advertiser gets in the mix.

Most times that I have reported virus alerts to blog owners they were grateful and
promptly removed the advertisement. So if you do get an alert and you have the spare
time, send the blog owner an email and let them know.

Thanks so much for your reply.
I made a list of where this happened.
I'm going to try emailing a couple of these sites where I enter regularly.
I'll post if I learn anything.
