We have never been to Disney World and have been talking about going so this is a perfect win for us!

WTG!!!!!!!!!! I went to WDW in 1972, the year it opened, of course I know it has improved a lot since then. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time!! Congratulations on the great win and make sure you tell us about it when you return. :sunny:

This is a great win! I agree with pp who said you need to plan plan plan. Don't go to WDW without having a good idea of what you will be doing. People who go without a plan come back and say it was a terrible trip. Those who go with a plan come back ready to book their next trip. Planning makes all the difference in the world. (Ok, I confess, I am a Disney FANatic.) Other suggestions I have in additon to pp's -- visit a Disney forum (www.disboards.com is great) and check out www.allears.net (especially for dining info, menus, and reviews). You will want to make your dining reservations as soon as you can (you are allowed to make your ressies 180 days out from your trip) and it is very easy to do online. Of course, you need to go to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ to do that.

Make sure you go to the Biergarten in Epcot (Germany pavilion) and do this -- :cheers:

There are six GPs for this one, so there is still hope for us! Ends 9/26. I've been entering dh and if we were to win, the couple he golfs with would go along and on their golfing days I could go do the world solo (which would be a dream come true for me). But boy, has this one been annoying to enter.

Congratulations Pam! :sunny: I suggest you go off-season if you can. We go every year for 2 1/2 weeks from January into the beginning of February. The weather is perfect, the crowds are gone, and there's no problem making reservations for anything; i.e. we book our character buffet one or two days beforehand! :)

Our favorite park is Universal Studios. If you do Animal Kingdom, get your fast pass from a machine at the entrance of safari as they go quick. Do parks in order of fave to least fave in case weather doesn't behave. Epcot is our least favorite, so we usually never get to that one! :laughing:
