Dear Valued Expert Fellow Members:

I see MANY listings from "Vacation Fun" listed here.... but I find myself, after occasionally clicking to them, a little worried that these are just a email garnering site. The pages are poorly structured, the requirements to enter are ambigious to say the least, and the notes that you will be added to lists are definately disconcerting.

I know that transportation is never included in any of their listings. And that also sends up flags for me.

But to boil the broth down to consume' ... have any of our members ever won anything from these folk??? Not interested about what you've heard from another 2nd cousin (or their black lab) who knew a neighbor who met somebody (or their goldfish) who talked with a supposed winner (who was a cat) ... maybe. :whistle:

By the volume of listings each month (50-60), I would figure that there should be 4 or 5 members here who should be winning each month.

Let me know. I would hate to missing out on a good deal! :crazytongue: :crazytongue: :crazytongue: I would definately like to win some of their offers ... but not if I am going to get 300 junk mails a month. LOL

:sunny: I can say with all honesty that in all the years I have been a member here, I don't ever recall seeing a winner post a win from them. I personally enter fewer and fewer of them, not so much for the emails but because of all the snail mail it generates.

Actually, I enjoy paper junk mail! Many companies (especially cruiselines) give you extreme discounts via them! [Such as the 8 day - hotel/flight included - offered by Air Tahiiti Nui for a mere $1,200 per person departing LAX, (TOTAL COST $1300) to Papeete and that I received yesterday via snail carrier]

:cheers: I got that one yesterday, too! They really did have some good deals and the rooms onboard were more than just modest accommodations.

It seems that since the economy went down the tubes, I don't get nearly as much as I did before. I know that that type of printing on those books and brochures is expensive, so maybe they cut back on the mailings.

The only place I've seen winners is somewhere on Vacation Fun's blog section.
