My little girl wants me to dye hers GREEN! She is only 11. I said maybe after school is out... I hope that she forgets by then (not likely though, she has a memory like a steel trap). Any suggestions for a nice dye that is not permanent and won't fry her hair? Maybe KoolAid, I am thinking.

Hope your daughter's turned out nice! I wouldn't mind doing mine red just for a change of pace but my employer would freak out.
 
I don't know which dye would be best (I always used Manic Panic, but that is not temporary) but here are some nice pics of green hair

It turned out great. she looks sooo cute. she is 13 and we have been dying her hair for about a year now. I always buy Splat. http://www.developlus.com/products/splat/index.html It usually last 2 or 3 months. Now with her hair because its so dark, almost black, I bleach it first before adding the color. If your daughters hair isnt that dark you could just add the color. It wouldnt be as bright but it doesnt sound like you want it to be. :laughing:

If you are nervous definitely wait until summer and maybe only do a small section of hair. My daughter is always getting complements on her hair. The red really looks good on her. She is really pale with bright green eyes and the red hair just makes her eyes and skin color pop more. She does it to be different though. always trying to see how far she can go.
