What happens when you move?

I have recently moved. Will this affect the sweeps that I have entered, you know changing addresses in the middle of a ongoing sweep? And will the mailman deliver affys or send them back to the sender?

fill out a change of address card at the post office, your mail will be forwarded to your new address.
UPS now has UPS My Choice, which is very good, not only can you update an address or reroute a delivery, they offer notifications, where they will send you an email to alert you that they will be delivering a package.

Don't know about affys with the post office, especially if they have to be signed for.

I'm not aware of a way to be alerted or change an address with FedEx,

besides the other advice you have been given, perhaps you could ask whoever is living in your old home to let you know when something arrives for you from fed ex. If you don't live in the same town anymore, you could have a friend that does live in that town then go pick it up for you. Some people might not be nice about it and let you know about anything that arrives, but my bet is that most wouldn't mind at all.

As long as you are consistent in applying the change, changing personal information mid stream shouldn't DQ you from any sweeps. If you do win, you may want to reply to any winning emails you receive stating that you just recently moved and confirm which address they have for you as well. Most sponsors will appreciate the heads up and should be willing to work with you to ensure you're prize goes to the right place.

I changed both address and name this year and haven't had too many hiccups with my sweeps, and as far as I know I didn't miss any prizes or DQ on any sweeps. I'm sure there are still some live contests floating around out there with entries under my maiden name and entries for my old address but if I win those, I can deal with them as they happen and if the prize goes out as a suprise, then I didn't know I was going to get it anyway and I won't know any different if it doesn't show up.

Some sponsors have you register once, then you are able to enter any future sweeps with your email & password - if you recall which ones you signed up with, you can usually go to their site and modify your profile.
