It's going to be a breezy and humid afternoon. Temperatures will remain around 93 with today's high of 95 occurring around 3:00pm. Skies will be sunny to mostly sunny with 15 MPH winds from the southwest.

It's going to be a breezy evening. There could be a sprinkle or two. Temperatures will diminish from 92 early this evening to 84. Skies will range from clear to cloudy with 10 to 20 MPH winds from the southwest

Overnight (1:00am-6:00am)

Temperatures will drop from 81 early overnight to 72 by 5:00am then rise back up to 73 late overnight. Skies will be mostly clear to mostly cloudy with 5 to 10 MPH winds from the southwest

Because of the clouds and rain over the weekend most of the area escaped without 90 degree heat. Highs were in the low to mid 80s for most locations. The only places that topped 90 were in the south and far west. Stevens Point hit 90 on Saturday and 91 on Sunday. Today is the day that we will all have to deal with the heat and extreme humidity. Plenty of sunshine and gusty southwest winds will push the mercury up to near 100. I think most areas will top out in the upper 90s (including Wausau). The spots most likely to hit 100 are in the south and west where there was not a lot of rain over the weekend. Neillsville, Necedah, Stevens point, and Nekoosa will be a few of the hot spots. It will remain very warm and muggy tonight and extremely humid on Tuesday, however the high temperature on Tuesday should be a little cooler. A cool front will be approaching from the north. This will bring a bit more cloudcover by afternoon and a chance of thunderstorms. High should be in the upper 80s in the northwoods, in the low 90s around Wausau, and in the mid 90s in the south. :shock: It's HOT!

It has been in the 90's since the middle of last week with miserable humidity. Tomorrow is supposed to hit 100 degrees with a heat index of 110 :shock: :shock: 5 months until winter! :( I can't wait!

We are stuck in a hot zone for the next few days. My BIL is getting married Saturday ~ OUTSIDE. I can't believe it is going to be so hot.

It's midnight and still in the 80's here! That is the usual average high temp, not the low temp of the day! :x
