: what is the weather like where you are?
Light Snow
High: 34°
Low: 25°
Yesterday we started November with the same weather that was with us during most of October - cold! The high temp on Wednesday was only 34. That is 14 degrees below normal. Thankfully it will remain cold for only 2 to 3 more days and then a milder trend should develop. Today a weak trough of low pressure is passing through the area and it will bring clouds and a few flurries during the morning. Partial sunshine should break out during the afternoon but it won't be enough to warm things up too much. Highs will be in the low to mid 30s. High pressure will move into the area tomorrow and that means more sunshine but not much warmer temps. Highs on Friday will be in the mid 30s.
On Saturday it will be a little warmer but there will be more clouds so it is like taking one step forward and one step back. High temps will be in the upper 30s to start out the weekend and the clouds may drop a few flurries or sprinkles. On Sunday a little sunshine should pop out and with a southeast wind high temps should climb into the mid 40s. Even if the sun does not make an appearance highs should be in the low 40s.
Low to mid 40s is better but I know you are hoping for more, and mother nature should deliver early next week. A west to east jet stream flow across the nation will develop and that means temps should be at or above normal for a while. A weak weather system will move through northcentral Wisconsin on Monday and that may produce a few light rain showers. Even with the clouds and a chance of rain, high temps should be in the upper 40s. On Tuesday and Wednesday there should be some partial sunshine and that should push the mercury into the lower and middle 50s.
