I've always wondered what kind of job alot of yall have.

I have been a secretary. But currently I am babysitting.

Currently, disabled vet, so no job.

Did 11 years in the USN, {electritian for the 1st 4 yrs, got out & went back in and was a SEABEE - construction} plus TONS of diff jobs from babysitting at 12 or 13 to Fast Food {mgmt} to Bingo caller.

I've been working with my mom and brother for the past 20 years. We own a photography studio that does wedding and portraits. The digital age has nearly done us in. We're just another one of those small family-owned business, that probably won't make it another year.

I'm a former preschool teacher's assistant who taught her own class as the teacher's role for assistant pay but, currently I stay at home because, after relocating I haven't found work yet.

I stay home now but I used to work in research at National Jewish center in Denver and Baylor College of medicine in Houston. I don't think PETA would like me very much. Although what they don't know apparently is there are guidelines for animal testing. There has to be humane treatment.

Im a SAHM now but I used to work for ford sweepstakes Dealerships.. Service department, parts dept, and body shop at one time or another. I dont miss it. Customers missing their cars can be really nasty. :nono:

I graduated college pre-law and was accepted to Penn and a bunch of great schools but couldn't afford it, so I worked in a law office.

After working there, I think I'm glad I didn't go to law school

I'm a full time stay at home Dad now since meeting Michael. Michael promised Mei Li he'd stay home for 2 years since he was rarely home when he was young because of his business (always in Asia, India and often in Italy). He's itching to get going again.

We'll start a business in the fall. Probably not in fashion anymore, he's burned out on that. I'll probably do the creative stuff, that's my love: art, designing, etc.

Ya know, a little off topic but, when are we gonna get to see pics of you two?? Keep hearing how hot you both are, it's time to share! Seriously though, I'm married and just messing with you.

I think Mei Li is a nice name btw. Good luck on your upcoming business venture!

professional bum ... the pays not great but you get to meet a lot of interesting people.

Actually ... a PHD in Botany/Forest Genetics... worked for the "Forest Circus" for many years ... but you name it ... I've done it!

I stay at home with my grand daughter while her mom works (rewarding , but it sure costs me a lot!)

I got a degree in Computer Science after 10 years at a medium security Federal Prison (worried more about staff stabbing you in the back than the inmates! :nono:)

I worked for 15 years at a Wal-Mart...took almost 3 years off from working ...and now I work full-time at a daycare center...it is rewarding but I have been sick 5 times since I started working there...but I LVOE all the kids there and they usually wear me out everyday!

I can't say it enough - NETI!!!

I swear by it - here in Las Vegas, with the dust/pollen/visitors with cooties, I used to get sick/stuffed up ALL the freaking time!!! :cussing:

But once I started using a neti-pot, NO more sinus headaches, YAY!!!

Less than $20 for one with 50 of the saline packets at Wal-mart - it's in a box in the cold medicine aisle - very bottom, with a {looks like} blue teapot on the box

Also, they hand out wipes here/have them available in all the casinos, so I use those to clean off the machine before I play - sounds like you are touching cootied things then touching your face maybe?

When I'm not here, I'm a full-time mom and part-time security guard.

I did that too - security guard - reminded me of standing watch in the Navy, and I HATED that!!! My gigs were always in the middle of the night and booooooooooring

I think I lasted all of 3 months? And what ticked me off was I was the ONLY one from my group who qualified at the gun range, but getting one of the jobs were you carried {which paid MUCH better} was a Catch-22 situation - no experience, no chance, :cussing:

I hope your job is not like that - but it WOULD make you appreciate being a full-time mom all the more!!!

Back in Texas I worked at a University library in their cataloging dept.
After getting married and moving to Wisconsin I work part-time at the public library as a clerk and have an interview tomorrow for a part-time library aide at the local elementary school library...
