I won a big box of makeup and hair products from a magazine as a teenager!
When I was in the second grade, I pulled one of those instant win cards they used to put in cereal boxes, it was for Super Friends or something, and I won a Batman kite. I was obsessed with the odds (200:1 as I recall) and still am to this day!
My first win came when my mother was pregnant with me. My parents were farmers and always made a habit of attending ag appreciation days where businesses would host a meal and give away prizes. I won a John Deere scale model tractor and corn picker (the predecessor of a combine). There is a picture of me somewhere as an infant lying on a bed with the tractor/corn picker.
