what words do you always misspell?

Mine is necessarily. I had to try a few times with the spelling just now to get spell check to even give me the right word. :laughing:

also, definitely.. always have to use spell check for it.
 
I have a problem with the first word you mentioned also. I use to be a great speller but, as years go by I find myself mispelling even simple words. :cussing:
 
Okay ~ I am the world worst speller ~period. I can't hear vowel sounds at all ~ they all sound the same to me so I really have trouble. Ashelyn has the same problem and it is a pain. The more I try to spell a word the more trouble I have. Poor Ashelyn...now they tell them to use 'best guess spelling' in school...we are having SO much trouble! Kids these days rely to much on computers.

I can't spell swimming pool :laughing:

I was the best speller in school and won blue ribbons galore but something has happened :laughing:
 
OK I just wrote a whole post to this but had the message about waiting 5 seconds. I can't spell worth a darn :laughing:
 
My spelling is usually pretty good, but my typing and proofreading are faulty. Half the time when I type my email address I put "2" instead of "@" so I have to redo it. Any many of my words have the right letters, but not always in the right odrer.

This thread gave me hardcore grade school spelling flashbacks.

I before E except after C and when sounding like A as in neighbor or weigh.

That's been burned in my head since they brainwash---er...umm...'taught' me that in school 30 years ago and I still get it wrong. Thanks for the nightmares Mrs. Armstrong!! :cussing:
