ohhhhhhhhh ping..... thanks for postin' girl... i love your picx... you look great.. and your eye color is beautiful;...great pix girlyyyy

Thanks...what is so funny is that I thought I was fat ~ lol! I had gained 30lbs after having Travis that I just couldn't get off and I just felt like a cow. Now I would give anything to be back to that size!

Yeah we were happy at that time! It is amazing what 16 years can do to two people at times! I think we know each other to well at times...

LMBO ~ I just got my laugh for the night! He looks so happy...but some cats just naturally look like that...he is very regal looking ~ you can tell him I said so! I just lost my kitty...he was an outside cat and he disappeared about a couple of weeks ago... I miss him so much. His name was Fuzzy McNasty. And he was a talker!!! Oh my gosh, that cat thought he was carrying on a conversation all the time and would get so mad at me for not understanding!! I still have two cats ~ Angel and Albie. When I feel like I can I am going to the shelter and get a couple of kittens.

Awww! So sorry to hear about Fuzzy!!! I have 2 "talkers", and I know exactly what you mean about how it seems they are trying very hard to converse with you! I had to have my 23 year old cat put to sleep about 4 years ago, he was incontinent and badly arthritic. I got a mobile vet to come to the house and do it. It cost more, but I think it was worth it. He was comfy, secure, and not scared the whole time, much better than a one way terrified trip to the vet, IMHO. Just over a year later, Lugh showed up out of the blue in our yard, very skinny and with a raging ear infection that was so bad it took 4 months to get it cleared up.

I hope you feel up to getting a kitten(s) soon! Don't forget, kitties are juvenile delinquents until around 3 years old... It's so easy to forget if you haven't had a kitten in awhile just how destructive and mischevious they are!

Now to something funny - the grumpy Persian's name is Paiwackett, but we call him Mr. Paiwacky most of the time. I am sure he will be quite happy to hear he was called regal. He has that grumpy, serious, regal expression all the time.....
Even when he is furiously trying to make sweet love to the fuzzy blanket on the couch, at dinner time... when we have guests... He yowls and murrts at the blanket like it is the sexiest kitty ever! It's hilarious!! I need to win a new camcorder and get him on Youtube!!

Angel just showed up a couple of summers ago...she is a cali and she likes to sit on my shoulder. She is an inside/outside cat...can't make-up her mind...she won't go out of our yard, but she gets restless inside and begs to go out, especially if I am gone. She will be kneeding my arms, chest, legs, or whatever and doesn't understand me going ow, ow, ow...She thinks I am her mother. She gets in my lap and wets my fingers and makes me clean her head and neck and ears...and she chirps at me the whole time. I have had many cats in my life and have never had one to do this. She will nibble my fingers and get them good and clean also...it is a TRIP!!

Albie is around 14 years old. He is out of a bunch of kitties from my very first cat that I ever got after I got married and had kids...Cleacatra. She was a killer cat ~ could kill anything around. I had given away all the kittens but him, so I brought him home and he lives here half the time and then he goes to his other family the other half of the time...I don't know exactly where this family is, but they take good care of him also, because he comes back fat and sassy. He was gone for 6 months one time and I thought he was dead and he just showed back up! That cat has a foot fetish  He won't sit in anyone's lap but mine. Won't get in the swing with anybody but me...he is my cat!

I am hoping to get two little male long-hairs...my favorite cat of all time, Booper was a long hair and I would love to have another that sorta looks like he did!

BTW ~ I do love dogs also...we have one of those also...Scamper ~ He weighs 150lbs and is an Aussie Shepard/Border Collie Mix...and so smart!!

Angel sounds like such a sweetie! It surely does seem like she thinks you are her mom! I take it she totally stomp-kneads like crazy? Their little paws are like magnets for any sore spots you have.. Or is it that she puts out her claws when she does it?

I like the name Cleacatra - that's a good one! :sunny:

Does Albie attack feet or just rub his face and head all over them like mad? I have had cats that did both.

As far as the kitties you are thinking of getting - have you looked on petfinder.com? They are nice because you can specify exactly what you want, like male, long hair, under 1 year, and it searches all the local shelters and rescues for you.

Sounds like you could put a saddle on that dog and ride him! That does sound like a really good breed combo, I bet he would do great on an obstacle course, provided they make the tunnel big enough for him! I love dogs too, but our situation right now won't allow one. One of these days I would love to get a Boston Terrier, I absolutely adore them!

Total claws...I have scars from loving from this cat. The kids are smart enough to put her down, but I feel like I have to let her "get it out" of her system...she is the worst I have ever had. Fuzzy wouldn't claw when he would knead ~ he just used his paws ~ he was a gentle lover ~ lol!

Thank ya ~ one of my better ones! Before my kids got bigger I could actually think!

Face and head...and he slobbers all over my feet ~ lol...he is just in love...about like your kitty and the rug...I love that story!

He is a huge baby and is so smart ~ he just doesn't like anyone but us...very territorial! He is getting old also...14 years on him also. He is getting to where he can't hear very well, but he always has a smile for us ~ I am gonna miss him so badly. He wants to eat our cats so badly...you can just see it in his eyes...if he thought he could get away with it he would go for it. We are lucky that we have a little bit of land. We are wanting to buy some more land to stretch out some more, but I don't want to move him...this is the only home he has ever known. I think I would keep him here until he passes somehow.
