kidney failure so drinking is a naughty! Trust me by the end of this week (Spring Break!) I will ready to risk it :laughing:

There is nothing like SBR's!! My Momma always used Kraft when I was growing up and my husband brought some home and we haven't bought anything since...nothing compares!

On a brief serious note can you have a beer like every now and then? With you not drinking at all you'll still feel it and get a little relaxation out of it. Don't chance it, though, unless it's OK!

My mother has always used Kraft. I like the honey bar-b-q from Kraft. We went to my hubby's uncle's 4th of July cook-out one year and his wife was using SBR's. I had been using Montgomery Inn for ages and didn't think anything could hold a candle to it. I was wrong!
 
Tonight is spag. and garlic bread. I wish I had some salad but, since I don't we will probably make corn or something.
 
Nope ~ none at all! To risky...I really didn't drink much anyway! It has been along time since I drank before the kidney failure anyway...I have to wait until I am away from my kids and the house and that just don't happen ~lol!!! Believe it or not ~ I've never had a beer in my life. I always liked whiskey...back in the day!

I think SBR's has a honey bbq now...look for the yellow label at the store. Now I am singing a song or at least a tune.... Look for ~ the yel-low label...

What the heck is that from????
 
Possibly from the stupid Kroger commercials where they get the doo-wops to say how they save money by looking for the yellow tags/labels? LOL

I think that is honey bar-b-q! I remember the yellow on the label :laughing:
 
Tonight bbq steak kabobs... steak, mushrooms, tomatoes, bell pepper & purple onions..... witha side of fried potatoes topped with sour cream&cheese....... for desert.... drumstick ice cream cones
 
Hubby grilled some baby backs and I made loaded baked potatoes and asparagus.

For dessert, the kids had Schwan's peanut butter cup ice cream.
 
We were suppose to go out to eat, but that didn't happen so I had to fix something quick! I went in there and found a Taco Bake Kit and fixed it...pretty good for a fast meal!!
 
For Friday nights' supper, I fried some chicken thighs, and ate some canned peaches (in heavy syrup, I might add :crazytongue:). :popcorn:
 
Well, we got to go out and eat today...we went to O'Charleys and had steak! Mine was not good...it was way overdone! Jimmie and Caitlyn's both were fine ~lol!! We used to eat at O'Charleys all the time, but they have started cutting the quality and it really shows ~ the salad is smaller and you have to pay for crotons and bacon, and they have done something to their rolls as well...won't be going back for a while ~ if ever!! Was really disappointed. You would think that when you spend that much to eat it would be decent!
 
We went to O'Charley's a couple years back and we weren't impressed. You had to pay for bacon bits and croutons? Ugh.

I like their cheesy potato soup, though. Their kids menu just didn't seem to have enough variety or something.

Tonight I am making tostados to go with the salsa I made. One of these days I'm going to gather the courage to make my own tortilla chips.
 
put a roast in the crock pot, sides of mashed potatoes and corn... strawberry soda for wettin' our whistles... :cheers:..... desert: daughter and I made a homemade peach cobbler...

Last night I made Roasted Chicken and stuffing with baked potatoes...something easy since I am still working on my house!

I really want Jimmie to pick up pizza tonight, but I don't see it happening! Everyone send him mental pictures of pizza and maybe he will get a hankering for it ~lol!!
