What's the longest you've gone without a win?

Hi everyone!! It's me and you guessed it, I'm just full of questions. I'm completely curious to know how long your longest dry spell was to date (if you can recall). Though I wish I could win constantly, I'm not so oblivious. Maybe reading about dry spells and then a win at the end of it would be good motivation to some people. Me included. So tell us, when did you start thinking you may never win again? And what kept you going?
 
As we speak as a matter of fact...

I haven't won... But I also don't really enter maybe 2 or times out of 7 days.... So I guess there's my reasoning for not winning...

Just too busy to enter...School, Work, Teenage Kid, New Husband, etc....
 
Well, I know people win some good things... because I see them on the forum telling it, but I have been sweeping since the middle of Sept 09 and here is what I have won.. a Snicker's Candy bar, a coupon for dessert at TGIFriday's, a yellow plastic tumbler from YellaWood with a couple other trinkets enclosed and a coupon for a box of Little debbie Cupcakes... Most of that was within the first two months of sweeping. I am more dedicated now, entering every day, about 70, maybe a bit more... and I have gotten discouraged. the first two months, I entered a couple times a week. Well, I am very determined to win SOMETHING of value... SOMEDAY... so I won't give up..........yet.....
 
:scratch: Sweepstake wins have no reason,patterns or any kind of sense. They come when they come. All you can do is enter,enter and don't worry anymore.

However since some of us sweepstakes addicts have to keep records I will answer your question. The longest slump I can find was 37 days in 2001. I don't think since I gone more than 2 weeks without some kind of wins.


The year 2001 ended with a total of 347 wins. The win notice that broke the slump was a $5000 win from Excedrin. So 2001 was the year with longest slump and above average wins.

My worst slump was for 6 or 7 weeks of daily {150+} entering - where before I was winning 4+ times a week - which ended in an AWESOME win of a $700 Fujifilm digital camera!!!

That was from a daily IW/Daily Prize sweeps & was the 1st decent win I'd had in MUCH longer & since those 4+ times a week wins were usually pretty small/gimme's {gimme's: where most everyone wins a d/ld, ringtone/etc} I'd rather win less often if the prizes were better!!! :crazytongue: :whistle:
