whats the weather like where you are

Today it's just supposed to be around 32 degrees - typical. Better than Tuesday though, we had rain then ice then snow. Yuck.

Raining but in the 50s. Its suppose to drop tonight and we might have freezing rain. Michael is out exercising the horses before he puts him in the barn. I'm sure he's cold.

I want to see snow for Christmas :headbang:

Today: Partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a few flurries possible after midnight. Lows in the mid 20s.

I want to see snow for Christmas too. Now that puts me in the Christmas spirit.

am I worried about tuesday though.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with the chance for freezing rain and sleet. Highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s.. I hate freezing rain.. The bus driver isnt that great on nice dry roads so I panic when the roads get bad.

Hot, humid raining heavily and tornado warnings all day. Its been awful. The sky just looked so weird, and stuff is blown all over the yard. Over now thank goodness and cooling off.

Did the 7 foot amazon black lady come out with her guns... that is the real question?

by the way, the quail are now safe and comfy in the barn. Seems they went in and made themselves at home in the hay.... and DD fed them and left water for them. :nono:

Expecting 12" of snow here overnight. Winter wonderland! My kids will be so excited when they wake up. Yay!!!!!

Yeah, but don't you think feeding them Panera bread co. bread is a little over the top? :)
Its started to get cold now.

That was not my idea..

of course, it would be nice to fatten them up with.

Hmmmm....fat quail....yummie! :) Save me a couple!

Right now it is 39 here.

BUT!

They are saying to expect snow here by 3 pm. We got what they call the "Canadian effect"* here. We get a big low pressure up in the Gulf of Alaska and as it starts to pass through it stinks (literally: s.u.c.k.s. :crazytongue: ) all the cold air outta Canada and rams it right down through Puget Sound.

So we are expecting 40-50 mph winds and temps in the 20's by nightfall. BRRRRR. I'm getting cold just thinking about it!!!!!

Those Canooks always ship us their junk! Shame on them! Why can't we blow all that cold stuff right back up their Canadian grits!! (calm down gorgor! :nono: )

* I used to think that meant saying "eh?" after every 5th word!

I'm freezing...they say the ice storm 'could' hit us the first of the week. I don't want snow and I sure don't want ice. I want to go visit Auntie Rita in Hawaii...

Well, it didn't hit us last night.

But it is now! The temperature has dropped by 12 degrees since noon~! It is now 25 degrees out there and still dropping! With 20-30 mph wind gusts!

BRRRRRRR! Darn Canoodians :booty"

Hmmm....Loren...is there something different about you now??? Can't quite put my finger on it there buddy...

We are under a wind advisory for all day tomorrow. Strongest winds since hurricane Ike came through Kentucky (that still sounds so weird...) They are telling us to be on the lookout for downed power lines and trees that may have been weakened when Ike went through. Sound like a barrel of fun and joy to me!

Temps start dropping Monday and the ice and snow start moving in. Not sure how it is going to play out yet, but it is looking like we might get a pretty good little storm right now. Anyone else out there wanting ice and snow? I will be more than happy to send it to ya!!!

 Bingle Jells, Bingle Jells, Bingle all the way! Oh what run it is to fide on a one slorse open heigh!

(no snow here yet ... but I'm working on it!)
