whats your screen name mean?

Mine pretty much explains itself also. I'm a huge Kyle Petty fan and his car no. is 45. Neat reading how some others have come up with theirs. What will I do when Kyle retires tho????

I'm a professional Christmas caroller with the Dickens Carollers, and each of us had to come up with an English-type name. I chose Daphne Kensington (Daphne is an English friend of mine from church, and our family used to live on Kensington Street). The 48 was the age I was when I started using a screen name--and I'm not saying how long ago that was!! My real name is Linda (no one calls me that except my mother), and I've been Missy since college....so I guess I have an identity crisis!

Hey where you been? You havent been posting as much. Thats cool that your name translates to that. I wish Mine translated to something.

Hi ya! I've been in a dry spell as of late. Also I do my sweeping last thing in the wee hours of the morning before I sleep, so most times it's right to bed or I crash halfway through my sweeps and I don't get a chance to respond to posts like I want to. So, I'm here but in lurk mode. Quite lurkish. Very lurky. Lurk-o-rama. :crazytongue:

Wow that's a great story and I guese you will be carolling soon :sunny:

Yes, we've been rehearsing since September (we have over 70 songs to work on!), and our first job is November 18. We usually have 15-17 gigs each season, and we also did a CD. I really love caroling!! It seems to transport people of all ages to a gentler time.

I love to hear caroling! I love to sing them ~ but noone loves to hear me sing them     You would thing I would have a talent, but that one isn't it :nono:

My son is named Bryan, after my husband, but when he was born, his nickname morphed over time from CheekyMonkey
CheekyMoMo
CheekyMo
TinyMoMo

He was such a little baby when he was born, and he is still rather small and fragile. He is 6 years old and in first grade. He wars size 3T and 4T clothes still.....and He refuses to go by his given name, so all his teachers and friends call him "Moe".

We still call him TinyMoMo around the house.

Well.. I seem to say things without thinking and when they come out..you get it. My husband calls me his dinger for being dingy.

That's funny. I have been with my husband for 16 yrs. and married for 11. Now to give you and idea of my husband...he's very intelligent. Whenever I say something that doesn't make sense or I'll make up my own words he will just smile/laugh and say that's my dinger for you. It is funny though.
