I found the perfect dresses for the girls. although, my wedding isn't until Aug. 2009. Should I buy them now, and put them up? If I do buy now, how do I perserve them so they stay nice without color fading and so on? If they even fade (I don't know)... Grrrr..... I just thought I'd ask....I'm scared that next year they won't be around... Any input is good. Thanks

Jamaica Wedding.......Colors of the wedding are: Yellow, Fushia, Black & a tiny bit of White. My girls will be wearing the multi-color one and my sister will wear the all yellow one, she's the maid of honor...

I think to be prepared you can buy them at anytime but, take into account that someone can gain or lose weight before the wedding so you want to be able to "take in" or "out" if they do.

You can preserve them by keeping them in plastic covers and out of the light. (Back of the closet maybe?). Light fades clothes. Dh keeps his leather jacket in a plastic zip up clothing bag, he has had it a few years and it still looks and smells new.

Those dresses are really cute!

Champ, if they are this years line, there is a strong likelihood they will not be available next year. If you are sure these are the dresses you want, buy them.

Also, David's is having their gown sale. Go try some on. I think it ends the 17th. I took my friend to their last sale and she bough a $2000 gown for $350!

Omg... great bargain Wolfie.. I will go this weekend to see if I like anything.. which i'm sure i will... Thanks for the tips girls....

Just make sure none of them are planning on having babies ~lol!! They certainly won't be wearing those if they do! Cute for the beach!

Ping... My friends are very into "the way the look"... so i'm not worried about them having any babies... But thanks ... I was trying to find Beach/Island theme BM dresses and I found exactly what I wanted... Thanks again girly

Thank goodness ~ ain't gonna be no baby bellies in those slinkys!!! You guys are built to die for! You need to come and eat in the south for just ONE DAY ~ lol! None of you would be able to wear them! Of course, we breed heart attacks in my neck of the woods also, so there is more than one down side

mmm... Ping I love southern cookin'..... do you like peach cobbler ??/ I'm a master at making homemade peach cobbler..... i dont' do the ham hoks... my mom is a pro at those too....

My kids and hubby love cobblers ~ I just love the peaches! I can do the blackberry, cherry, peach and apple cobblers and like none of them! I rather just eat the fruit! I love fried chicken though ~ even though I have made the switch to baked! Same thing with pork chops, we have had to go to bake with those also ~ Jimmie's cholestrol was so high that we had to do something...of course he blamed it on me, but I have told him again and again that I was eating the same way he was that it was just heredity with him! And he is super skinny! Mine turns to fat and his turns to cholestrol.

We really have trouble in the winter though ~ I love to bake and I have trouble not baking for the kids ~ but I can't bake alot because he has NO self control ~NONE NADA ZILTCH!!! I've finally told him that if he wants it bad enough he will make it himself ~lol! That has taken care of just about all of it. I did fixed some brownies a couple of days ago that last about 2 hours! It is just sad
