which do you prefer

My husband thinks im weird because I think trees that look like this...

what do you think? Its not just the way the trees look its the dark skies and clouds.. I like it.
 
Right now I like the leafy tree better because I would like spring to arrive. But normally, the trees I notice more are those like the ones in the first picture. Pretty striking.
 
I have to agree (not just because we share the same spelling of the same name) that I like the darker one much better. Gorgeous picture! :sunny:
 
:wave: As a guy who has a dry, morbid sense of humor, wears dark clothing (blacks, blues, grays, etc.)...I really enjoy the first picture. I love cold weather, and the first picture looks like something from a cold winters day...the tree looks like something ready to be lit on fire during a Satanic ritual or something... :crazytongue: The stark, bare branches reaching up towards a dark, cloudy day...perfect!

As for the second picture...it is nice too. The tree is a green canopy of life and insects (yech!). The leaves form a certain symmetry, which I find pleasing as well.

me too. I love winter. The dark skies, dead trees.. something really pretty about it. I hate summer and sunshine. I prefer rainy, gloomy days to sunshine and bright blue skies.

I would love to live in place like Tim Burton's sleepy hollow.. minus the killer of course. :laughing:

You guys are scaring me. :whistle: Starting to wonder about the type of friends I have. :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: Sunshine and flowers all the way for me, now I do think the other tree is interesting to look at, but would go nuts if I lived in gloomy cloudy place.
