whiner's wall

Could some please send me some pixie dust. When I upgraded last year I thought this is going to be my year! So far not so much. This month is proving to be my worst. With the government probably going to shut down I need to win so much! Wishing everyone good luck!

OK you whiners ... I've been sweepstaking for 40+ years when entries required a postage stamp and a 3X5 card which would actually require scissors ... that's another story itself. Needless to say ... internet certainly makes if easier ... but guess what ... added millions of others in the odds. Win anything. 1st big on was through a local grocery store and was a cruise with air. The biggest was about 20 years ago when we won a trip for 4 to Italy. Trip of a lifetime ... until we got a 1099 for $24,000 and had to pay taxes on that much money. That's something to think about when you enter the sweeps. At least HGTV tries to allow for it with a cash add on. I think they now have about 3 homes to give away each year now. That's the only really good one nowadays.
 
Dear Whiner's Wall,
I am sorry it has been so long since we chatted, but things have been going okay until recently. I so dearly need a vacation. If you could pretty please use your special fate inducing powers and help me win a vacation I would be so appreciative.

Im going to Whine today as its been forever for any type of win! I should have started Whining on January 1st:) wish me luck! and may the odds be ever in your favor for all my fellow whiners!

EVERYBODY wins EVERYTHING except for me. It just isn't fair. Even my mom says it isn't fair. Oh a bunch of you have won vacations? Must be nice. I sure could use a vacation after my manager gave me a hard time at work last year, but because I tell it like it is I never get chosen to win (no way it's random drawings!). I'm just going to quit if I don't win something soon. I'll spend my free time doing something productive like playing video games or picking up a smoking habit.

There! That should satisfy the whining gods.
