Only problem is, I may end up getting shot down with this, from the Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release that I have to mail in...

I also represent that neither I nor any member of my immediate family or anyone living in my household is an employee of XXXXXXX, ePrize LLC and their advertising and Promotion agencies (the “Sponsors”), or any of their parent corporations, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, or any entity connected with this Promotion, and that neither I nor any immediate family member or anyone living in my household is connected with any of the above.

even though it's a 3rd party that draws the winners!!!!! :cussing: *beep* :cussing: Yah, I work for the grocery store that's running this!!! grrr!!!!!

Well, congratulations on being chosen as the winner, and maybe since it is a third party draw, it will all work out. It's a fantastic win, if it comes through!

Congrats. Here is hoping they do not figure IT OUT. Play Mickey the Dunce! Can't Hurt!

Oh yes! It can hurt. :nono:

If you fill out that affy and send it in you will be commiting Fraud. Which in this case would be a Felony since the amount involved is over $2,500.00. Plus if you submit it and they send it to you and you spend ANY of it and then they find out (or not): you will not only be committing Fraud ... but also Grand Larceny.

But I hear that Vacaville Prison has lovely view this time of year. The food ain't too good though. (Or maybe Corcoran where Charlie Manson would probably love to have you "to chat with" ! )

If you take the previous advice ... you should make sure you have a good lawyer on retainer. :error:

Why did you enter this if you worked there?
You should read the rules first!

but still, that is a great win, and I hope that there is a way you can get it.

:sunny: Congratulations on being drawn as a winner even though you aren't eligible. It's a great prize, too bad you didn't realize that you weren't eligible when you entered as a lot of these sweeps do not pick alternate winners. That means no one will get the prize.
As Loren has stated not only are you asking for trouble by falsifying the affadavit, you will also be getting a load of bad Karma from the sweep gods.

Did you win this through SA??? Looks like you posted this less than an hour after registering here.
Seems like only wins through SA should be posted here.

Why did you enter this if you worked there?

In the past, there were weekly winners of smaller prizes, and one big winner at the end, and we were told, from headquarters of the company, that we could enter and win any of the prizes except the one big prize at the end of the contest, which was a year of groceries. Last year and this year, instead of it being a lot of small winners and then one big winner at the end, it's been one big winner each week.

Plus, in the form you fill out the first time you enter, it actually has a box to mark if you work for the company, and of course I marked that box, and it didn't spit out any error saying I couldn't enter. So when they drew my entry, they should of seen that I work for the company or live with some one that does...

I'll probably call headquarters of the company tomorrow and ask them if we can win these ones. Obviously since they are the ones forking over the cash, if they say yes, then I can send in the affidavit. With the contest being run by ePrize, obviously the Official Rules page/affidavit is a template they use for every company that has contests. You can tell by the affidavit having in bold text, everything that would of been changed from the template.

Seems like only wins through SA should be posted here.

And where does it say that....

Sweepstakes & Contest Wins Reported by SA Members.

I see *lots* of postings about non SA contests.

This is an odd one - I've never heard of a sweeps where if you were an employee you could even enter, much less be eligible for some but not all of the prizes - I take it this was a local, or for very few states sweeps?

As to eprize, they run sweeps/do fulfillment, and yes, they have a standard "boilerplate" for rules, but the sponsor {the company you work for} should be the one who has final say so on eligibility.

I'd love to take a look at the rules for this - if you don't feel comfortable posting the link, you can send me a pm :)

So...If someone wins a prize thru another forum they shouldn't be posting their wins here?? I am confuzzled???

I think the concern is when members know of a sweeps, and don't share that info with SA - especially the "vote for me" types - then come here to post after it has ended.

Our community at SA is a close knit one, and many members are offended when people do that.

you checked off the box that lets them know you are an employee! as far as i can tell , it doesn't look like you did anything wrong. you stated you were an employee. it's alittle confusing? it doesn't look like you falsly filled out the form or anything. call , just to make sure, if they say yes, then congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!
