Received an email that I won on cruise to the Caribean for two..only it is when its my granddaughters first birthday, and it is a lesbian cruise (didnt realize this when I entered) I dont think my husband and I would fit in!

Bonnie, sorry to hear you had to decline. I know I've accidentally entered some gay and lesbian contests. Wish they would highlight these a little better. Maybe SA needs a special category.
 
I won the same cruise......LOL.....and I too have to decline!!!! My mom died earlier this year unexpectedly, followed by my best friend of cancer in Canada. followed by another friend a week before Christmas. I sure could of used the rest and relaxation.......however..........moms insurance policy wasn't near enough to cover the funeral and i am currently working on getting money together for the headstone...... I FIT the bill so if any of you have any ??? as to the category.......zip me a message....I will surely let you KNOW......

Congrats on the win, but too bad it's not one you can take. Date conflicts can be a hassle!

It is easy to enter contests that aren't a good fit. I do try hard to not enter any contests that would be a significantly more exciting win for someone else (for example, a concert trip for a band I don't like or know OR a new fridge if I just got one, etc) - that's just part of my personal contest "ethics". I didn't enter that cruise contest for that reason, although I wouldn't be one bit uncomfortable going on it!

So sorry that you can't use this win. Those Olivia cruises are really spectacular (at least, that's what some of my lesbian friends tell me). I keep trying to win a cruise on RSVP (the gay male equivalent to Olivia), but no luck yet.
 
I got an email that one won a cruise also and though I am not a lesbian, my boyfriend said he would go but I dont know if they let men on the ship-anyone know? I will have to wait till monday to find out.
