Won an Ipad and lost it!!! WORD TO THE WISE...

Won an IPad on FB sweep, but didn't see the FB message till the next day and had to respond within the allotted 12 hrs timeframe. So they passed it on to the next person... I was soooo pissed! That's the one item i REALLY REALLY wanted (besides a car and vacation). So word of caution if you enter FB sweeps- check your messages daily! They don't show up like a regular PM.
 
:sunny: That is a real shame. 12 hours is not a lot of time, but if that was in the rules then there isn't anything you can do except to post this warning. Hopefully another IPad will find it's way to you again. Best of luck to you!
 
well i am very new here so i dont understand. i received an email that stated i had possibly won an ipad or phone or imac. this is what it said.

you are our possible imac,iphone, or ipad winner! is your postal code xxxx? where you born in xxxx? is your last name xxx? if you dont participate your chance to win will be passed on to someone else!

so i clicked on the link and it just took me to the site i had signed up with, no what to do next NOTHING in regards to if i really won anything. i justdont think this is real. does this sound like what they would do if i really won? should i wait for a response? any understanding of this would be greatly appreciated like i said i am really new to all this!!! thanks
