I was so excited because Fall Out Boy is Caitlyn's favorite band. Got looking at the dates only to figure out that there is no way that we can go. Jimmie (DH) is having surgery on June 4th and basically he won't let me take her to LA by myself.

Everyone on SA keep your heads up for a call. It was just listed "call" on my cellphone with no number ~ I hope that someone else on SA wins!! Good luck everyone :smt003

I see lots of trip sweeps I would love to win, but so many have specific dates for travel and I already have committments on those dates so I pass on entering. Luckily for all of us there are lots of sweeps with no specified date to travel.

That is truly my biggest prize to date. The only other big prize I won was the $500.00 referral contest. Of course, when I was able to enter consistantly I won several IW's ~ just to busy right now :smt010

Congrats, maybe it's a sign of a good luck streak ahead.

Did you try explaining your situation to the sponsor? Maybe they could have offered you something else or possibly another tour date. Especially since it involved a family medical situation and the band was a favorite.

I realize the official rules often state no substitutions. But for compelling reasons as above, they may have made an exception for you. It never hurts to ask. Considering your circumstances, it would have been pretty heartless for them to not offer you an alternative.

Exact date trips can be hard to take sometimes. Hope everything goes well with your husbands surgery.

My daughter is going to see Fall out Boy in June.
