Would you count this as a win?

So I sat down with my friend the other day. I directed him to a local contest. http://www.mygtn.tv/story/18162759/wheel-of-fortune-contest

They draw a NAME out of a spinning bin and at the same time they spin a WHEEL with dollar amounts from $50-$500.

If your name is pulled you have 4 minuets to call and claim prize. Well his name was pulled I could not believe it then the wheel stopped on the one $500 spot!! Holy #$%!

So I called him and he was not watching but I gave him the phone number to call. He made it in 4 minuets and won the $500 CASH.

Well I went to congratulate him the next day and he gave me HALF -$250 I was in shock. I told him it was to much but he insisted.

I want to count it! - What do ya think?!
