Help! I won the xm25 radio from the GMAC sweep. It was supposed to come with 3 months free. They said it would arrive already loaded. When I called XM to activate it, their system will not recognize the id#. :tongue2::cry: :cry: To make it worse, I gave it to my 18 yr old son. We cannot figure it out and it's making us both craaaaxzzzzeeeeee! :crazytongue: :hammer: Somebody help!!! Please....the veins are popping out in my forehead and his! :cussing:
 
I won from them.. not the last one but the one before it and I just called xm and they set it up. Try calling xm again and then gmac. do you still have the original winning email? When I set mine up I had to read all kinds of numbers of the stupid thing and it took atleast half an hour for the xm people to get it set.
 
I haven't won from them but, I have heard several people who did win say they had the same problems. If you cannot get it to work, email the sponsor and let them know what is going on and hopefully they can help you.
 
Oh, btw...you might wish to ask the good folk at xm if the pending merger with Sirius will affect your system? I don't know which company is buying out which...but there could be some sort of changes after the merger...especially about warranties, subscription service and prices, etc. You know...technical crap that most of us might not think about as affecting our xm radio.
