I have AT&T Universal so I am not any help

Sis has decided to get into the 21st century and needs cell phones.. THREE or FOUR in fact.

If you have multiple people, especially kids, how many lines do you have?

And what do you think of your phone company?

Sprint and Embarq are both out for personal dislike :cussing:

But she's considering Metro PCS, Verizon, Tmobile and AT&T

good and bad please!

We have AT&T and have 4 phones ~ Jimmie and mine both cost $19.99 a month and the girl's both cost $9.99 a month with a family plan. I forget what the plans start at, but we have disabled text messaging on Ashelyn's phone completely. Caitlyn has unlimited Mobile to Mobile text and 200 text for other networks that she pays for on a monthly basis for $20.00.

We have really good reception with AT&T around here, which is better than most of the other phone companies. It does vary according to cellphones also though. I have found that my Nokia had the best reception of any phones we have ever had. My Motorola comes in a close 2nd though ~ Jimmie's Samsung is TERRIBLE here. You may have better coverage in your area though!

Oh, and prices vary greatly from area to area also! Since we are in a smaller area, we end up getting worse deals...we are sorta use to it by now! Tell your sister good luck!

We us altell prepaid. But nobody ever uses the phones so it is very economical for us, works out to $10 a month, per phone. With kids, who talk a lot, you'd need more minutes. We have a Nokia, an LG and a Motorola. The Nokia is best. We have lousy reception here.
