Have you ever just had one of those mornings that you wanted to scream??? Well, I am there my friends!!! Ashelyn and I worked hard last night finishing up her 4-H demo that she had to do last night. She had to fix it, but I had use the hot glue gun to put things on the poster and find stuff for her to pack it to school in. Well, because she had so much stuff she had to pack this morning I decided to take her to school ~ I am worried that I will forget something of hers and I go off and forget my cellphone. Usually not a big deal, right?
Anyway, I get to the school and when she gets out I am thinking that maybe, just maybe I smell anti-freeze. I make it most of the way home before the temp hand starts to rise and I pull over. I am, of course, in my PJ's when I realize that my cellphone is at home on my desk. I am just stuck on the side of the road. I sat there for 40 minutes ~ I am less than a mile away from home. So finally I decide to see if the van has cooled back down ~ it has ~ so I drive the rest of the way home. When I tell my husband that I drove that van home after it had been hot ... :cussing: ...that is an understatement for how he looked.
Thank goodness it doesn't look like I messed anything up. The fan motor broke off and a piece of it flew into my radiator poking a hole in it which caused the anti-freeze to drain out. Now we are looking at another $300 - $400 for Jimmie to fix it. Thank goodness he can though ~ there is no telling what a garage would charge!!
I think I am going back to bed
