Wet mowed grass + eager dog = mess

Had mowed the lawn and during the process it started raining some. Had finished as the sprinkles let up. Was going to wait a little hoping the sun would dry the lawn some before letting her out, but someone let her out right away anyway. Running through the wet mowed yard leaves you a partially green legged dog!:

We tried to teach our dog Izzy to "speak". Instead of barking, she makes this high pitched whining noise. Its definitely funny and makes us laugh.

My dog Toby will stand in front of the elevator in our building if he hears the bells which signals someone is coming down. He loves resident Randee and makes me stand there until someone comes out of the elevator to see IF its her! He will stick his butt up and lay down on his front paws only. The other night, after his last walk of the evening, (its late folks-usually between 12-1am) we did this and we startled RANDEE when she came out of the elevator as she was NOT expecting anyone to be right there. Toby started wagging his tail to be pet by her and after the initial shock, she did just that! I need to get a photo of that!

My dog was mad with me so he got in his cage and close the door and turned his back so he wouldn’t hear what I had to say. He has much attitude.

My childhood dog, Noopy, loved to play with little green snakes. Just loved'em. He would let them encircle his neck, then he would shake his head back and forth forcefully until they fell off and tried to get away. He'd let them get a little away, then pounce on them like a cat. Over and over. When he tired of the game, he would gash them with one tooth, leaving the poor thing to die in the sun. Our yard was littered with them throughout the summer. That was 60 years ago and I still smile but feel a little bad for the poor snakes.

Getting stuck in the cats litter box

We have been fostering a big boy, 90 pound Socks, and he loves to see us walk into the kitchen, then lay down to block the entrance/exit from the kitchen if he doesn't get food! He's so smart and funny

I had a black chow named Maggie who did not mind at all. My wayward niece came to live with me and Maggie ate all her shoes so I decided the two of them would benefit from obedience training. That lasted one night. My niece didn't tell me what happened, but refused to go back and decide it was easier to shut her bedroom door so her shoes were safe. Maggie never did learn to mind.

We adopted a Pariah Dog from India. Life was rough for him before his forever home and after 5 years he still 'collects' water on his morning walks by dropping his head down and dragging his tongue on the grass to drink the dew.
